Chief Executive Officer
Shane Kernell is an experienced and respected executive who is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Graham Regional Medical Center. He has extensive experience as the CEO of community-based acute care medical centers in Texas and over 30 years of combined healthcare experience, starting as a medic in the United States Air Force in 1991. Mr. Kernell has a history of improving all aspects of a medical center's operations, including volume growth, patient experience scores, patient outcomes, and financial performance.
Mr. Kernell holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas. He is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kernell has been active in his community serving in various capacities for several non-profit organizations, including Rotary International and the Chamber of Commerce.
Robert M. Lonis
Chief Financial Officer
Bob hails originally from Central New York but permanently relocated to the south to attend Graduate school at the University of Alabama, where he received his MBA degree in Financial Economics. Bob has had an extensive healthcare management career spanning nearly 40 years, including for-profit, academic, and governmental settings.
Bob and his wife Karen have six children between them, and four that are in the healthcare profession serving others. Bob began working for Graham Regional Medical Center in January 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer and hopes to bring his varied experience to the benefit of GRMC as well as the community of Graham. He cherishes the opportunity to share and mentor others.
Bob enjoys tennis, cycling, and spending time with his family outdoors. He also enjoys college sports as one of his favorite past times.
Enoc Espinoza, MSN, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Enoc is a proud graduate of Graham High School and earned a BS in nursing from Midwestern State University and a Master’s degree from Western Governors University in Nursing Leadership and Management. Since 2008 Enoc has served the North Texas Region as a Registered Nurse. His experience includes emergent bedside nursing, hospital management, nursing academia, and other clinical roles.
Upon returning to Graham with his wife and two children, Enoc began working for Graham Regional Medical center in 2018 and now holds the position of Chief Nursing Officer.
Enoc Serves the community of Graham through involvement in the Graham Crisis Center, Young County Friends of the NRA, Chair of the North Texas Health Care Coalition, teaching Stop the Bleed, and Crisis Prevention management.
Enoc Enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and continuously seeks opportunities to teach and learn.
Chief Information Officer
Jeff Clark serves as the Chief Information Officer. He provides leadership and guidance regarding best practices in information technology, information management, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity for Graham Regional Medical Center. He has responsibility for ensuring the operational success of the clinical and business systems, including the electronic medical record system (EMR), financial and billing systems, and numerous ancillaries which support patient care. Jeff holds a degree in Computer Science and has served the hospital for over 25 years. He also serves as the Safety and Security Officer.
Chief Human Resources Officer
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Terri Busey provides leadership in developing and executing HR strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction for Graham Regional Medical Center. Terri joined the hospital in 2020, bringing with her over 15 years of HR experience in the healthcare arena. Her focus areas include compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance. She holds a master’s degree in business and is a certified professional in Human Resources and Healthcare Compliance. In 2021, Terri also assumed the role of Chief Compliance Officer for the hospital.
