& Control

The primary responsibility of this department is the prevention of healthcare associated infections.

Prevention strategies include, but are not limited to, hand hygiene, cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, vaccination and surveillance throughout the hospital and clinic settings. Prevention also includes monitoring, surveillance and outbreak investigation.
