Laboratory
Graham Regional Medical Center Laboratory provides collection and/or testing on in-patients, out-patients, home health patients and nursing home patients throughout the region. GRMC lab is staffed seven days a week, 24 hours per day by an excellent staff of highly qualified technologists, technicians and phlebotomists dedicated to serving the community in a professional, courteous manner.

Karen White serves as the Director of Laboratory Services.

SERVICES
GRMC Laboratory is equipped with a state of the art hospital-wide information system that allows us to excel in monitoring patient testing results. The laboratory offers a varied menu of in-house testing utilizing the following disciplines and analyzers:

Hematology-Abbott Cell-Dyn 3700

Coagulation-Beckman/Coulter ACL2000 and 8000

Chemistry-Beckman/Coulter CX9

Immunochemistry-Abbott Axsym

Urinalysis-Clinitek 100

Microbiology-Vitek 2 Compact

Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine
